On Neoboard - Preferences you can change your chat definitions, which is how will you appear on the Chat Boards.

First you have to choose your avatar. Click on it and you'll be able to see a preview compared with the avatar you're currently wearing.


To know more about avatars use our Avatar List. These avatar things are little pictures that will appear under your username on boards, neofriends list and on the search box.


Then you'll be able to choose your Neotitle on a dropdown list. The Neotitle is a small name that appears under your username when you post.


The HTML and Signature are features that beautify your text when you post on the boards. To learn how to do these please use our Signatures and Fonts guide.

Below you're able to see how your font looks together with your avatar and your active pet (that appears as avatars on the boards).


Finally you can choose your language and view settings for boards.


You can choose to view only topics on the language you're using the site (on this case English). If you toggle to see every language you'll have the boards of all the languages available on Neopets gathered on a giant board, which will make things much faster and hard to keep up with (especially if you're not fluent on all the 12 languages)

Choose view font effects to see the pretty colored fonts and symbols. If you choose not to use a plain font will appear for everyone. Same applies to neosignatures.
