![]() The next button on the top yellow bar takes you to your shop. You will arrive at a page with several links which we will explore. This is where items end up if you choose the There are a series of text links on the top below the yellow link bar. If you click the first one titled, "Create/Edit a Shop", you can create your very own shop. It costs 150 nps (the Neopian currency) to open a shop, but in the long run, it is very much worth it. Here, you can enter a shop name, choose a shopkeeper, a greeting, and if you choose, you can enter some HTML or text to make your shop pretty. Then, at the bottom of the page, click the button entititled, "Create Shop," and you will own your own shop. You can come back to this page as often as you want to update your shop layout, shopkeeper, or greating. The next link on the top should read "Stock." This takes you to the page where all your items in your shop are resting. Here you can remove items from your shop or price items to be sold. When you are done pricing items, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "update" button to update all prices. There are also scroll down bar on the far right of each item. You can choose a number here to choose how many of that specific item you would like to remove from your shop and send back to your inventory.
![]() The next top link is a link with the words, "Shop Till." Here is where the nps go when you sell an item. You can come here to pick up your nps. The next top link is "Sale History." This will take you to a page that shows what users have purchased items from your shop, what they purchased, the date they purchased it on, and the price they paid. This page only lists items that have been bought for 1000 nps or higher. The next top link is "Quick Stock." This takes you to a page which shows all your items in your inventory. You can send items to different places on this page, but a much quicker rate. If you are confused for what each feature means, see the previous section. The next top link is titled, "Shop Front." This is what your shop looks like when a user visits your shop. It displayes your greating, shopkeeper, any HTML, and any items you currently have for sale. ![]() The next top link is entititled, "Shop Blogs." This takes you to a page with blogs that neopets has created for users to use in their shops. You can copy and paste the code for the shop blog you like in the HTML section of your "Create/ Edit a Shop" page. It will add the snazzy blog to your shop. Of course, you can also find awesome blogs by clicking here. ![]() The last top link in your shop is entitled "Item Gallery". Item Galleries are something like a shop... but you don't sell anything. You collect items that are a like and put them together in a shop to show everyone. We're not going to go too deep into this however... Sorry. =( --------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() The next link on the yellow bar looks like a giant house. It will take you to the Guilds home page. You can find the perfect guild for you here, or create your own. Feel free to read up more on guilds in other guides. You can view our guild guide by clicking here. ![]() The next link on the yellow bar looks like a mallet. It will take you to the Auction area of the site. Here you can bid on auctions or start your own. . There are a bunch of text links on towards the top. The first one will take you to the Auction Home Page. Here is a walkthrough of all the links:
![]() The center of advertisement on neopets! There's not much to say about it but that you advertise here. The more neopoints you pay the higher it is on the list. It's a fun place to browse.
![]() Here is the place where you can search through other people's shops for items that you need. The links on the top are listed above in the shop section. Type in what you're searching for, choose wheater you're looking for shop or gallery, Choose if you want the exact item or not, and the maximum and lowest price you want your searches you are looking for. Once you put in the item you are looking for you are welcomed with this page with a table with 4 sections.
![]() The battledome is basically where you battle other pets. I'm not going to talk much about it since you can see a guide here. Though the battledome is one of the most famous things in neopia and what your pet can do. This is where wars occur, where your pet tests it's strength, etc. ! ![]() Next you come to an image of a faerie. Click it, and you are welcomed with several little huts going all the way up to the mountains. These are the lists of the top about, 700 shops in neopia. How do you get on the top you ask? Well. The larger your shop size, the more chances you will be on the list. The people with the highest shop sizes in neopia are in the top 10. Clicking on one of the huts brings you to a page much like the noticeboard page (see above). It's actually basically the same thing, except it's more expensive to get on this list. But it gives great advertising to your shops. There are three important places we will be looking at on this map. Here they are:
![]() ![]() This page shows the price changes of items in neopian shops. What they do is they look at prices in the shop wizard and change them accordingly. There are 5 categories in this table.
![]() The neopian bank is a great place to store your neopints safely without the tax beast, or ghosts, or those stupid bug brothers to come and take your neopints. The best part is - interest! The more neopoints you keep in the bank the more interest your get. Once you enter in all the information you need (address is not important - just make one up) you're ready to go. Interest is a certain percentage of the amount of neopoints you currently have in your bank. That percentage is added to your account everyday! Only annoying part is you have to go to the bank and remember to collect your interest otherwise you miss out on it. Interest is not added if you do not collect it. You snooze, you lose. v.v The National Neopian Bank
Depositing / Widtrawing, etc. neopoints
Upgrade your account Here is where you update your account type. Simply put in the amount of neopoints ro meet up to the new standard of neopoints the account wants you to have and press Change account and you're done!
The trading post is the center of all trading in neopets. If you want to trade items - this is where to go! ^^ To get to the trading post you click the little faerie person (jhudiah) and there you are at the trading post. We're going to explain the links on the top that you see.
![]() Help
This helps you tons basically on the trading posts. It answers your questions, etc. ^^
![]() Trading Post Main
This is the homepage for trading. This is where you get to view all the current progress in the trading post. If you want to create a trade click the "Create a new Trade" button. In order to trade you need items of course! Check the items you want to trade, and write in a little bit of what you want in the wishlist box. ;) Click, "Start Trading" and you're off! Remember: All trades are cancelled after two weeks - so if you don't get any offers in that time, then well, your items go back to your inventory! Once you click "Start Trading" you come back to your Trading Post Main which lists all of your current trades. Here is what the Trading Post main tells you about your post:
How do you know you have an offer you ask? Well, on the top left hand corner of the screen next to the header (of any page) a picture of the Jhudiah comes up. Click it and it brings you to you trading post main. Next to your lot number should be Some that says, "(There is [insert ## here] offer on this lot)". Click it. You come to a page which shows you several things about the offer. Including the username of the person sending an offer, the number of their offer [random], your lot number, and the items and neopoints they are offering. You can choose wheater to accept or reject the offer. If you reject the offer you will not get anything from that person but have a chance to see more offers. If you accept it - you will get the neopoints and the item the person is offering and they will get your items that you offered.
![]() Browse Lots Here you can look at other people's trades and offers. You have several options here. Here is what they are:
You are then given the choice to display the search items you are looking for by newest, random, and oldest. You can only use these options for "Containing my phrase" and for "identical to my phrase". Or... you can look at the 20 newest trades. Which shows the newest trades. Newest on top and oldest on the bottom. You can offer on the lot and once you offer you wait for a reply from the user. You will know when you get a reply from the earth Jhudiah at the top of the screen. ![]() Offers you have Made Basically view your offers. What you offered for what. You can also witdraw your offer here. You will know if your offer was accepted by the little happy Jhudiah at the top left hand corner of the screen. ^^
![]() Your items Brings you back to your inventory. o_O Inventory is explained above! ^^
The money tree is where people donate their items and neopets. It works quite simply. Click the item you want and hopefully you'll get them before anyone else. You can submit neopoints by scrolling down below all the items to the bottom of the money tree page and submit the amount of neopoints there. You can donate items from your inventory. (Explained above) If you are fast enough to get an item it will appear in your inventory. ^_^ ![]() The SDB box is a great place to keep your items to make sure they're safe. In here, the pant devil can't steal anything, sloth can't turn your items to sludge - anything! How you put items in your inventory is explained above. Items are listed 30 per page. Sometimes if you have a lot of items (espeicially if you are trying to get the pack rat avatar!) and are looking for a certain item - you can use the "Search SDB box tool" below the pages links. The items in your SDB box are listed from when they were updated to the neopet's server. So the oldest items will be first and the newest will be last. The SDB box will show you the name of the item, the picture, amount of that item you have, category of that item, and the item description. Next option is the remove item. You can either remove one at a time - or you can choose many to remove. Once you have chosen all the items you want to remove scroll to the bottom and select "Move selected items". All items will be transferred to your inventory. ![]() Next are the neohome. It basically looks like a little house. :) Fortunately - we already have a neohome guide which you can see by clicking here. Well wow! We did that whole bar! Didn't we? Now - I give you a pat on the back for reading all of that - because if you can put up through my horrid writing skills you're amazing. I swear we're almost done. Let's stroll on back to the main shops page.
Once you get an item you type in the price. You can haggle with the shopkeeper meaning buy an item for a lower price than what is asked for - which is a wonderful deal. Be careful though. Asking for too less might not get you the item at all!
![]()
![]() The Bazaar The bazaar is simply an extension of the main shops - simply because TNT could only put a certain amount of shops in one place. As you can see - the bazaar is crammed. Personally - I love the chocolate shop with it's total cool Willy wonka style! :D
![]()
Well - that's it. If I haven't blasted your brain into two pieces by now, I think you're amazing. I've blasted myself. I swear. This guide was crazy. If you want more you must be a freak! I mean. Uhm. A very good reader. Hem. Anyway - enjoy shopping around neopia! Hope I didn't drive ya too crazy! =D
